NGC, Suncountry Farms organise Employers’ Summit in Mosan-Okunola LCDA

THE Nigeria-German Center for Jobs, Migration and Reintegration (NGC), in partnership with the Suncountry Farms, organised an Employers’ Summit at the Mosan-Okunola LCDA of Alimosho LGA, Lagos State, on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that the summit was aimed solely at the development strategies for economic growth and development of small micro agencies in the council area. The summit also featured a participatory session where contributions were made by employers of labour, foundations, and institutes that specializes in vocational skill acquisition.

The Executive Chairman of Mosan-Okunola LCDA, Hon. Adebajo in her speech, expressed her pleasure of being part of the auspicious occasion, adding that the theme of the event resonates strongly and echoes the determination of the local council to strengthen their workforce and in turn, the economy as it is believed that exposing youth to skill acquisition programs will reduce the youth unemployment rate and enhance their self-sustenance.

“We are dedicated to empowering the youths of Mosan-Okunola LCDA with creative and innovative skills that would help bring good values to the community and Lagos State at large,” she noted.

The council Boss then appreciated the stakeholders and partners that have made this summit a reality ranging from the Nigeria-German Centre for Jobs, Migration and Re-Integration, the council leadership, and all the participants.

The summit was witnessed by Mrs Sandra, Leader of NGC and her eight team members; Suncountry representatives; Leader of the legislative, Hon. Olasunkanmi Adefioye; Deputy Leader, Hon. Olasunkanmi Adekola; Majority leader, Hon. Ayeni Folashade; SLG, Hon. Ayo Orimolade; Supervisor for Education, Hon. Abimbola Komolafe.

Others include Special Adviser on Special Duties, Gbolahan Afeez Yusuf; Special Adviser on Boundary Adjustment and Urban Development, Hon. Gbolahan Lawal; Supervisor for Wealth Creation, Hon. Tolutope Falope; and WAPA, Hon. Adelakun.
