2. JOB TITLE: Azure Administrator

SUMMARY: The Azure Administrator is responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting cloud-based solutions that adhere to security best practices within our client’s Azure cloud environment. Support Linux and Windows server-based multi-tier applications with cloud-based and on-premises components. The incumbent must possess strong troubleshooting skills, and be self-motivated, process-driven, and highly customer-focused.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Deploy and maintain Azure resources and other cloud technologies.
-Implementation and support for Networking, Databases, Software, and Servers in the Cloud.
-Design architecture for integrating core infrastructure technologies in support of enterprise applications.
-Perform risk assessments of existing and new technology deployments.
-Recommend, implement, and monitor security auditing and alerting solutions.
-Monitor cloud and on-premise resources to verify integrity and availability.
-Troubleshoot operational issues, escalate as appropriate and offer solutions.
-Establish standards, tools, and processes to be used by the team and create procedures to guarantee adherence and compliance to those standards.
-Develop, document, and understand internal IT processes and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
-Minimum of 4 years of active, hands-on experience in Azure cloud services
-Strong understanding of security concepts surrounding operating systems and applications.
-Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policies, Etc
-Ability to work independently and in a team, prioritize existing projects, and proactively determine areas requiring additional attention, monitoring, or maintenance
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and practices
-Proven background in providing excellent customer service
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
