2.    VACANCY: An Internet Service Provider (ISP) with a large base of customers across different locations 
JOB TITLE: Support Engineer
LOCATION: Lagos (Island)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: 3 Months Contract
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Provide technical support service via phone, email, and other channels as required to clients.
-Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
-Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
-Ensure proper follow-up and closure of all pending tickets.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: BSc. Accounting or other related fields
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Oversees and directs all general accounting functions, including a chart of accounts and general ledger, cash receipts and accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, petty cash, bank reconciliation, and client trust accounts.
-Establishes and maintains appropriate internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure proper accounting of transactions, and promote operational efficiency within the Accounts Unit.
-Uses and is familiar with the company’s financial computer systems, manuals, and procedures. Maintains and updates procedural manual as needed.
-Maintains adequate records of all transactions and ensures that transactions are posted daily/weekly (i.e. local banking transactions, receipts, cheque payments, petty cash transactions, fee notes, etc.).
-Conducts monthly bank reconciliation.
-Responsible for the statutory deductions of PAYE tax, pension, withholding tax, and VAT, and remittance to the relevant local authorities every month.
-Maintains proper inventory of the company’s assets through the Fixed Assets Register.
-Acts as an interface between the company and its bankers.
-Assists in the company’s debt collection efforts. Ensures receivables are paid promptly.
-Acts as backup to the finance team lead.

-Higher Diploma or BSc. in Accounting and Finance or relevant field.
-3 years of working experience
-Proficient with MS Office (word, excel, Powerpoint) a must and knowledge of essential accounting software usage such as QuickBooks

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Assists in the implementation of internal control policies and procedures to ensure compliance and promote operational efficiency & transparency
-Conducts Internal Control evaluation and risk assessments to identify loopholes and areas requiring management intervention to prevent fraud, embezzlements, misappropriations, misuse and wastage
-Conducts audit tests and investigations as designed by the Audit Team Lead
-Prepares draft audit reports for review by the Team Leads
-Evaluates information security and associated risk exposures
-Coordinates and participates in periodic inventory count and fixed asset verification exercises.

REQUIREMENT
-Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Accounting or any finance-related course.
-Minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience working as an internal auditor in a reputable oil and gas organization. 
-Relevant professional certifications e.g. Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
-Experience in risk and compliance, review of processes and network control.
-MS Office and exposure to ERP systems.
