Tracka calls on Sanwo-Olu to fix abandoned road in Alimosho

According to residents, no car has plied the road since 2017 due to its bad condition.

TRACKA, a community of active citizens tracking the implementation of government projects in their community to ensure service delivery, has drawn the attention of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to a dilapidated road project in Alimosho LGA. 

Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that the road is cited on Adijatu Kasumu Street in Ipaja, Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA of Alimosho LGA.

Residents, who spoke to Tracka, said that no car has plied the road since 2017 due to its bad condition, and they have suffered huge economic losses due to the bad road.

Tracka, as an organisation, has a presence in 586 local government areas across 26 states in Nigeria. 

The body has tracked over 15,859 projects in 7,589 towns and organised over 7,612 town hall meetings nationwide.

With this revelation in Alimosho, it is hoped that suchlike roads in rural areas will receive some attention from the state and local government.
