Shobowale commends Governor Sanwo-Olu’s free food initiative

THE Executive Chairman of the Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Hon. Chief (Mrs) Bola Shobowale has urged the residents of the council area to uphold principles of fairness, transparency, and equity in the distribution of State palliatives.

Shobowale emphasised the importance of the distribution during the launch of the palliative distribution at St. Andrew Primary School, Ipaja.

She highlighted that the palliative programme is a crucial social investment initiative by the current administration aimed at alleviating the hardships and economic challenges faced by the people.

The Chairman commended the State Government, led by Governor Sanwo-Olu, for their efforts in bringing relief to the people of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA.

She called upon party leaders and stakeholders across the five (5) wards and communities to ensure a seamless and efficient distribution process.

Also, she warned against any attempts to sabotage or divert the palliatives, stating that such actions would be met with legal consequences.

She reiterated her dedication to serving the people of Ayobo-Ipaja to the best of her abilities, with an emphasis on an open-door policy to enhance the well-being of the community.

In his remarks, the CDC Chairman, Elder Joseph Olokede, lauded the Government’s initiative in providing food donations and pledged full cooperation in the distribution process.

He called for continued support for Governor Sanwo-Olu to ensure the delivery of his T.H.E.M.E.S agenda and more developmental projects.
