THE Executive Chairman of the Ayobo Ipaja LCDA, Hon. (Chief/Mrs) Bola Shobowale, recently graced the hand-over ceremony of a project sponsored by the Azeez Amida Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) at the Anglican Pry School, Olorunnisola.
The Ceremony had in attendance notable chiefs, community leaders, management, and stakeholders.
Shobowale, in her speech, commended the foresight of the initiator of the project construction of two classrooms and a library, which is well equipped with relevant books, modern shelves, and solar energy to power the fans for proper ventilation of the office, including the provision of teaching aid to complement the teachers at the Anglican Primary School, Olorunnisola.
Shobowale stated that she was honoured to be part of the ceremony considering that other developmental projects had benefited from the Foundation, such as boreholes with taps and health facilities.
She enjoined other well-meaning personalities and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) to emulate this positive gesture, which would add value to the education and other aspirations of children.
The CEO of the Azeez Amida Foundation, Mr Azeez, in his words, appreciated the community for their cooperation towards the success of the project.
He appealed to them to make good use of the facilities, adding that they should expect more developmental projects in the community.
Projects commissioned and handed over are a block of classrooms, a solar powerhouse and a borehole for the community.
