THE Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Hon. (Chief/Mrs) Bola Shobowale has joined many well-wishers across the country to congratulate and celebrate the awardees of the prestigious National Honour newly conferred on them by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR).
The Nigerian National Honour is an award for the recognition of meritorious and distinguished services to the Nation via effective leadership and representation.
The award is conferred on an individual usually with the final discretion of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, after the awardees' profiles might have been scrutinized, with due diligence, by the National Committee for National Honour and Awards.
The council boss in her congratulatory message said; “Ti omo eni ba dara kawi... It is in accordance with this Yoruba proverb that the Ayobo-Ipaja Council Chair, heartily congratulates and celebrates the duo of our Lagos past governor & present Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) and our own distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic from Alimosho, Lagos, Senator Adeola Olamilekan Solomon (YAYI), having been conferred with the award of Commander of the Order of Niger (CON), an award on the second position on the array of Order of the Niger.”
