AS part of her yearly Ramadan and palliative programme the Supervisor for Budget and Planning in the Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Hon. Azeezat Damilola Owonla-Odubajo hosted Ramadan prayer and distributed foodstuffs to about 150 persons in the LCDA.
Information reaching AlimoshoToday states that the event, which was held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, was to further cushion the effect of the economy melt down and hardship faced by the people, most especially at the grassroots. The palliative programme was solely sponsored by the Damilola Foundation, which was founded in 2014 by the Supervisory Councillor, who also doubles as the General Secretary of the Lagos State Supervisors and SAs Forum.
Omo-Owo noted that this will be a continued practice as she will always work towards the betterment of her community and State as a whole. She then appreciated Lagos State Governor, His Excellency Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for how much he has supported Lagosians since the removal of subsidy while pledging to always support the people of her LCDA to benefit more people at the grassroots.
Meanwhile, the Ramadan Prayer was led by His Eminence Maolana Sheikh Abd. Kosheed Abd.Rahman Ase-Olohun Founder and Grand Sheikh of Ummatu Nabbiyy Islamic Global Family (Afisohullar).
In attendance are the immediate Past Executive Council Chairman of the LCDA, Hon. Sakiru Yusuf Adisa, Alimosho Apex Leader Alh. Abdullahi Enilolobo, represented by Mr Fasinro Kazeem, SLG Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Prince Rotimi Akiniyi, Ayobo-Ipaja APC party Apex Leaders, Baba Adelabu, Alh Sakiru Shanke, Otunba kazeem Adewale Hamzat, and the Akinrogun Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba land.
Others include the Royal Fathers in Ayobo-Ipaja, Baale Ijon, Baale Fatade, Ayobo-Ipaja APC party Chairman, Hon. Bamidele Ojo, represented by Mr Seyi Onileiyan, SSA Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Hon. Isa Lawal, Mr Didi Bugatti of Alimosho News, Hon. Jelili Adewunmi, SA Legislative Matter for Orile Agege LCDA, Ayobo-Ipaja APC party Chieftains, LGA, Ward Executives and others.
