IN the early hours of Wednesday, April 20, 2022, a crisis arose between some members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and the Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria (TOAN-ESTIJABAH) in the Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA.
According to reports, the violence between the two parties occurred at about 07:30 am when some members of the NURTW stormed the council area to challenge and apprehend anybody that is a member of TOAN.
AlimoshoToday gathered that both teams were fully armed as they were shooting spontaneously.
Fortunately, officers of the Lagos Neighborhood Safety Corps (LNSC), Ayobo and Ipaja Police Division were available to bring calm to the situation and restore peace in the community.
