NIGERIA @62: Shobowale greets Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA constituents, canvas votes for APC candidates.

THE Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Hon. (Chief/Mrs) Bola Shobowale has congratulated the residents of the council area on the occasion of the celebration of Nigeria’s 62nd Independence Day anniversary, while also canvassing votes for the All Progressives Congress (APC) party candidates in Alimosho, Lagos, and Nigeria at large.

The council Mayor in her Independence Day message on Saturday, October 1, 2022, said; “Our Independence Day is more than just a holiday, it is a day to remind ourselves of how far we have come and how much we have done.

“It is a day of unity and togetherness, it is the day we put aside hostilities and come together as one big, unified family. Today is truly a special day for the nation.

“As we mark our 62nd anniversary today as a nation irrespective of our tribe, tongue, colour, religious or ethnic differences, let us remember that this is the only nation we can call our own, no matter the myriad of challenges we face as a nation, Nigeria will soar high again and the Eagle will fly above the storms and circumstances.

“As a core Progressive, I urge all the residents of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA to vote for all our candidates on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform in all positions come the 2023 general elections so that the dividends of democracy can get to our doorsteps.

“I seek your support as you continue to partner with us in our efforts at building a more prosperous and healthy Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA.

“Remember, freedom does not come easily; we are indebted to our national heroes who made it happen. As patriotic residents of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, let's put extra effort to perform our own civic rights and responsibilities. Our diversities should not be seen as a weakness but as our strengths. It is only by working together that we can build a resilient nation.

“Let us think of something we can do for our nation to make it a place of prosperity, peace and happiness.

“Nigeria will soar high again!”
