IN commemoration of Easter celebrations, which symbolise the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area Chairman, Hon. Chief (Mrs) Bola Shobowale has felicitated the Christian faithful in the LCDA and beyond.
In a statement made available for publication by the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, Hon. Jimoh, Bola Shobowale said that the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ are the significance of Christianity and it is the fulcrum on which lies the beliefs of the Christian faithful of peace, love, hope, and perseverance as demonstrated by Jesus Christ.
"It is on this basis that it is important to rejoice and celebrate with Christians on this festive season of Easter," she said.
The LCDA council Boss then reminded the Christian faithful to exemplify the cardinal purposes of Christianity, such as peace, love, hope, and perseverance, which the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ teaches everyone.
"I urge you all to reinforce the sustainability of peaceful coexistence among all residents in Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA regardless of religious affiliations.
"On behalf of my family and the Government, I congratulate all Christians in Ayobo-Ipaja on this year's Easter festival," Shobowale stated.
