Ayobo-Ipaja council boss receives Anchor University Management

THE Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA Chief (Mrs) Bola Shobowale (Yeye Bola) on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, received a team of Academicians from the Anchor University, Ayobo led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor S. O. Bamidele, in her office at the council secretariat. 

According to information reaching Alimoshotoday, the council boss, in her address, spoke of the transformation of the former International Bible Training Centre(I B T C) to a university of repute that is globally recognised, adding that she is optimistic that the presence of the university would bring greater development to the Ayobo community.

The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor S. O. Bamidele on his part, differentiated the Deeper Life Bible Church from the university, saying that although the institution was established by the Deeper Life management, it is purely an academic setting that will be used for academic purposes only.

He, therefore, implored the people living in the Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA and its environs to take advantage of the university and the knowledge it provides, while promising to give priority and rebates to deserving and qualified students.1493 

In his words; “our doors are open for students to come for admission in our university as there is no religious/ denominational discrimination in the university.”
Professor Bamidele then informed the chairman that new courses such as Nursing, Architecture, Public health, and Law have been approved by the regulatory body of Nigeria Universities.

The council manager/Director of Administration, Mrs Bola Adeyemi, appreciated the team for the visit and also solicited scholarships for indigent students in the community.
