THE Executive Chairman of the Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area, Comr. Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya, on Tuesday, December 23, 2023, celebrated the festive period with children at the council Secretariat.
Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that the children's Christmas party was organised by the council in conjunction with the Imole Ayo group.
The council Helmsman and his Deputy, Hon. (Mrs) Mojisola Ajarat Ayinke Badmus, were not left out in the dancing competition, raffle draw, breaking of balloons, and parents and kids challenge, among other games during the celebration.
In his keynote address, the council Mayor charged the children to honour and obey their parents at all times. 
According to him, "As a child, you should obey, respect and honour your parents. You should also be law-abiding and represent your parents well wherever you go; don't join bad gangs, listen to your parents’ advice, and make good use of it always.
"Tinubu became what he is today because he listened and obeyed his parents."
In her welcome address, the council Vice Chairman, who was the Event Coordinator, Hon. Mojisola Badmus, enjoined the Igando-Ikotun LCDA children to be focused and face their studies to become what God Almighty has destined them to become.
