THE ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has remembered to thank the people of Igando Ikotun LCDA for voting in the primary election and to also declare that the people have spoken and so there is no vanquished.
The appreciation was shared through a representative of Igando-Ikotun APC wing, Comrade Eniola, in an official statement made public through the social media.
He wrote "We thank the Igando-Ikotun electorate for voting for good governance, industrialisation, security, empowerment and general welfare of the community. We will continue to advocate for and support safe, free and credible elections that guarantee that valid votes count and the people’s will prevail.
“We thank Senator Bola Tinubu, Senator Solomon Olamilekan, Alhaji Enilolobo, Alhaji Y.Y Kure, Hon. and K.K Ayuba for rallying round our supporters, members and leaders, particularly our indefatigable leader, Hon. Jimoh Ajao, the Asiwaju of Igando Ikotun, in total support of our Chairmanship Candidate, Comrade Akinsanya Lasis Ayinde.
“We also recognise and appreciate the tireless efforts of the Oba Onigando, Oba Onikotun, Oba Onijegun, and the Balees.
Eniola added “Comrade Akinsanya is indeed Victory for all. The election is concluded, the people have decided, and there is no vanquished.
"We seek general support for Comrade Akinsanya as he continues his work to return Igando Ikotun LCDA to its deserved and progressive standing among other LGs in the country".
