INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT: Akinsanya commences grading of rural roads in Igando-Ikotun LCDA

IN a bid to make rural roads more accessible to citizens and to boost the infrastructure of the council area, the Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde has commenced the grading of rural roads across the seven Wards of the council area.

This new development was announced by the Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Mojisola Ayinke Badmus, who revealed that this development is a means of providing accessible roads to residents of the community while adding that the grading was to reshape and compact the roads to reduce lumps and bumps for smooth rides.

Akinsanya noted that the graded roads would link communities together in the council area and enhance infrastructural development while making life meaningful for the residents and also ease movement.

He said: “We embarked on this grading, utilising the opportunity of the dry season. It will, no doubt, create better roads for ease of movement for our people, especially in rural areas.

“The grader will be working simultaneously in all the 7 Wards under Igando-Ikotun Lcda.”

He then reiterated his administration’s commitment to the development of the community.
