IN furtherance of his administration’s pursuit of ensuring school children get the best education, the Executive Chairman of the Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde, has distributed 20 schools each to 24 public primary schools in the council area.

While speaking during the distribution of the bags recently, the Executive Vice-Chairman, Hon. Mojisola Badmus, stated that this is a part of the Chairman’s blueprint in his resolve to provide quality education and a conducive environment for learning in the council area.6799

While listing some of the achievements recorded in the area of education, Hon. Mojisola noted that the Chairman made education a priority for his administration as it was the bedrock of the nation and the best investment for a child.

Explaining the driving force behind the project, Mojisola explained that “on one part, this gesture is aimed at fulfilling the statutory function of the local government as it relates to education. So also, it is to meet the educational needs of our pupils and students, and ease struggling parents and guardians’ financial burden.”6800
