Ayuba’s mother empowers Akesan women with cash gifts

THE mother of the Member of the House of Representatives representing the Alimosho Federal Constituency, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba, Mrs Omolasho Ayuba, popularly known as Iya-Eleja (the fish seller), has empowered the elderly women of her hometown, Akesan in the Igando-Ikotun LCDA of the Federal Constituency.

Information reaching AlimoshoToday stated that the programme was held at the Town Hall of the country home of the lawmaker in Akesan Town on Friday, March 29, 2024.

While appreciating the aged women for their continuous support and prayers for her family, and recently, in the political accomplishments of her son, Iya Eleja presented a cash gift to the elderly women.25cde44f-9b04-4721-8555-8f289e9b05ff

On his part, Rep. Ayuba appreciated the women for their unwavering support and emphasised the importance of prioritising the welfare of elderly citizens, honouring their contributions, and recognising their unique challenges. He promised to do everything within his capabilities to ameliorate the needs of the people.

Present at the programme was the Reverend of St. Peter's Anglican Church of Akesan Town, Rev. Akintunde Oke and the Grand Chief Imam of Akesan Town, Alh. Bashiru Koshebinu.

Note that Akesan Town is the paternal and maternal home of the lawmaker.
