THE Member-elect representing Alimosho Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Ganiyu Ayuba (Mayor KK), has lauded Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for completing the rehabilitation work on the Akesan-Obadore road (Oba Abayomi Alabi Fagbohun Avenue), in the Igando-Ikotun LCDA of Alimosho LGA.
Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that Hon. Ayuba conveyed his appreciation while speaking at the commissioning of the project, which he helped facilitate while serving as the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Urban Development on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.
"I specially appreciate my boss, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, for the singular honour of delivering this road in my hometown and throughout the state. As the Governor's representative, Engr. Aramide Adeyoye, Special Adviser on Works and Infrastructure, has provided full support and a wise strategy for the building of this project from the beginning," he said.
He then appreciated all dignitaries and everyone present at the formal commissioning of the project and appealed for more support from the people to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
The community Monarch, HRM. Oba (Dr) Nojeemdeen Abidemi Aberejo, the Alakesan of Akesan Kingdom, who was in the company of HRM. Oba Lasisi Gbadamosi, Onigando of Igando Kingdom, appreciated the state government for the completion of the road project and further requested more meaningful development in Akesan Town and her suburb.
Responding to this, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by Engr. Aramide Adeyoye, the Special Adviser on Works and Infrastructure, said that all requests from the public are taken into consideration and will be forwarded to the appropriate authority for any necessary action.
A large number of dignitaries, politicians, and individuals from the community and its surroundings attended the official commissioning.
