THE APC Arewa Community Group in the Igando-Ikotun LCDA has presented an Award of Leadership to the Executive Chairman of the LCDA, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde and his Vice-Chairman, Hon. Mojisola Badmus.
Information reaching AlimoshoToday states that the presentation took place in the Chairman’s office at the council Secretariat, highlighting the significance of the event in recognising his outstanding leadership during his years in office.
The award presentation was attended by the Leaders of the Forum and other members of the Arewa Community.
During the presentation, the leader of the Forum articulated the rationale behind selecting the Chairman and his Vice for the award, stating his exemplary leadership qualities, dedication to the principles of the Arewa region, and contributions to the overall development of the Igando-Ikotun community.
On his part, Comrade Akinsanya expressed gratitude for the honour bestowed upon them, recognising the importance of Arewa's involvement in shaping the future of the country. His acceptance speech highlighted the need for continued collaboration between the Arewa and experienced leaders to achieve sustainable progress and unity.
He added that the award served not only as a recognition of achievements but also as a call to serve the people of Igando-Ikotun more.
