Akinsanya pledges official buses, special welfare packages for CDAs in Igando-Ikotun

The Chairman also said he would ensure that all the nine communities that make up the council area will benefit immensely from his Government before his first term in office comes to an end.

Akinsanya pledges official buses, special welfare packages for CDAs in Igando-Ikotun

THE Executive Chairman, Igando-Ikotun LCDA of Alimosho LGA, Comr. Lasisi Akinsanya has pledged to give a special grant and welfare package to the Community Development Associations (CDAs) and hand over official buses to the Community Development Committee (CDC) before the end of his first term in office.

The Council helmsman made the promise at the monthly CDC meeting held at the Council Secretariat hall on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

In a statement released by the public affairs unit of the Council, the Chairman explained that the grant was to be used by the CDAs leaders to execute palliative projects within their communities.

Speaking on his tenure achievements, he promised to ensure that all the nine (9) communities that made up the council area benefited immensely from his Government before his first term in office comes to an end. 

He appealed to CDAs to make good use of the grant the government is about to give to them.

On her part, the Vice-Chairman, Hon. (Mrs) Mojisola Badmus, appealed to the CDAs to support and partner with the LGA in revenue generation, noting that street captains will be appointed to assist the LGA staff to generate revenue for the council.

The CDC Chairman, Elder Ademola Oshibeluwo, appreciated the Executive Chairman for his quick response to issues that have to do with CDAs in the council area, adding that the community leaders will always rise whenever the Council Mayor calls for any support.
