NIGERIAN artist and Grammy Award winner, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known by his stage name as Wizkid, has changed his stage name from Wizkid to Big Wiz on Instagram.
It appears that Wizkid no longer sees himself as a kid after over ten years of dishing out record-breaking hit songs and dominating the stage. It is said the artist finally took the advice of fans who requested he change his name from Wizkid to anything else as he is no longer a kid.
The artist made the change on his Instagram page recently, but it is not yet known whether the Instagram declaration should be taken as an official statement.
Wizkid has won over 50 awards and his currently nominated for the BET best international acts category
