THE ex-husband of Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, Teebillz, in a now-deleted post on social media, revealed why Nigerians should forgive Marlian Records label boss, Naira Marley.
Recall that the death of 27-year-old former Marlian Records signee, Mohbad, has caused controversy for weeks now, given the circumstances leading to his death.
However, Naira Marley has been linked to be allegedly involved in his death following the way the late singer was assaulted and harassed by his acquaintance, Sam Larry and others.
While defending Naira Marley, Teebillz made it known that Naira Marley believed and invested in Mohbad’s talent when none of the Nigerians, whom he refers to as “after-death advocates of love” ever did when he was alive.
He started the now-deleted Instagram post by sharing a video of Zinoleesky singing and, by extension, tells Nigerians to stop cancelling him because he is signed under Marlians Records, adding that he committed no crime, adding that Nigerians should forgive Naira Marley of his shortcomings and give him a second chance to attain his blessing as a leader and influencer.
He wrote: “#Too young too talented to throw under the bus of cancel culture! One of the best writers of the new age! Guilty by association is not a deliberate crime to me……. I pray ppl forgives Naira Marley off his shortcomings and I hope God gives him a 2nd chance to attain his blessings as a bonified leader and influencer! Just yesterday when everyone and their mama was a glorified Marlian…… Naira belived and invested in Imole’s talent when none of the after de th advocates of love did….!!! May our creator bless us where we lack knowledge and wisdom!”
Meanwhile, stating the reason for deleting his post, Teebillz wrote: “Forgiveness, Accountability and Karma makes spirituality & Religion so questionable and complex…… I deleted my last post bcos my big bro @tolaodunsi enlightened me about the gravity of the ongoing investigation, and I respect the facts! I wish you disrespectful souls can share the same energy when you see me in person… pls try!”
