THE host of one of Nigeria's biggest music award, The Headies, have announced some changes for this year's edition of the award ceremony.
The 15th edition of the award is set to take place on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022, but for the first time in its history the award ceremony will take place outside the country.
Yes, the award ceremony which will feature musical performance would be held in Atlanta,USA. This will be the first time the ceremony will take place outside Nigeria
Also new category has been added to the award nomination list which includes:
1. Best Afrobeat Pop Single
2. Best Afrobeat Pop Album
3. Music Executive of the year
4.Best African Collaboration, African Artiste of the Year
5. International Artiste of the Year.
To top it all, one of the most anticipated award category, the "Next Rated Artiste", will see this year's edition winner go home with a brand new Bentley 2022 model.
