POPULAR Ghanaian music artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., known as Shatta Wale, has acknowledged Nigerian artist, Asake as a better music artist than Ghanaian artists.
The dancehall singer had no choice but to acknowledge and give Asake his accolades during an X (Twitter) space hosted by Ghanaian media personality, Serwaa, on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
Shatta Wale made it known that even he is not close to Asake's level in the music industry and currently no Ghanaian artist is close as well.
Shatta Wale said, “No Ghanaian artiste has even made it like Asake. Not even me.
“Nobody in this Ghanaian industry has made what Asake has made. Let’s be realistic.”
This is coming after Asake performed at a sold-out concert at the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom.
