Odumodublvck speaks on danger of drug abuse

NIGERIAN rapper,  Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, well known as Odumodublvck, has spoken on the dangers of taking illicit drugs, citing himself as a case study.

The ‘Blood On The Dance Floor’ crooner spoke about his experience as an undergraduate student in Unilag in 2014 and what prompted him to stop the habit.

Addressing his audience at a recent concert in Houston, Texas, USA, Odumodublvck disclosed that he was abusing crack cocaine before giving up the habit.

“I used to take crack cocaine when I was in Unilag in 2014. It is not good for your life. But while I was smoking it one day, I learnt a lesson. The lesson is: How bad do you want it?” he said.

“And I’m talking to each and every one of you here, whatever you are doing in your life, how bad do you want it? Do you want to be the biggest blogger? Do you want to be the biggest artist? Do you want to be the biggest businesswoman? How bad do you want it?” he added.

The rapper, who resides in Abuja is one of Nigeria's hottest rappers, his hit song “Declan Rice” earned him a Headies award in 2023, Rookie of the Year, and Best Rap single.
