THE entire Nollywood industry and fans were today shocked on hearing the news that veteran actor David Osagie had died just hours after leaving a movie set.
The actor who is popular for playing royal roles in movies was said to have left a movie scene on Tuesday, but was unable to make it to the movie set this Wednesday morning.
Confirming the incident, actress Ibiwari Etuk wrote: "This can’t be explained o. He filmed yesterday o; went back to rest hoping to resume shoot today, but never woke up.
"Another 'king role interpreter' is gone. What is this, God?”
Sources also noted that the actor was not sick.
Osagie was also a producer, script writer and director. He graduated with a bachelor degree in 1998 from Obafemi Awolowo University.
