POPULAR Nigerian Actor, Pope Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope, has been confirmed dead after a tough battle between life and death, following a boating mishap while shooting a movie.
According to media reports, Junior Pope was confirmed dead by three hospitals.
Meanwhile, the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) President, Emeka Rollas, has deleted the Instagram post where he announced that Junior Pope is alive and receiving treatment.
Recall that the news of his death was first shared on Wednesday evening, April 10, by filmmaker, Samuel Olatunji.
He mentioned that the actor, along with three others, tragically lost their lives when their boat capsized.
Also, Emeka Rollas confirmed that the remains of the actor has been deposited at the morgue while the bodies of three other crew members were yet to be recovered as they were five in the boat, which capsized after colliding with another boat around the River Niger area in Anambra State.
