POPULAR South African rapper and hip hop artist, Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo, aka Nasty C, has named a list of African artists that have inspired his music journey.
The 26-year-old versatile rapper named a list that includes top Nigerian rappers, Ghanaian rappers, and South African rappers, as well as late rapper AKA.
He disclosed this in a podcast interview with Afrozons.
He said: “My pioneers for hip-hop in Africa in no order are M.I, Sakordie, Olamide, Phyno, AKA, Cassper [Nyovest], Naeto C… There’s so many.”
The artist, who is often referred to as the coolest kid in Africa, is one of the biggest and most successful rappers in Africa. He has collaborated with the likes of Davido, Burna Boy, and Runtown.
