A-list musician, Naira Marley has opened up on who he is supporting in Saturday's gubernatorial election in Lagos State.
Naira Marley, in the late hours of Wednesday, March 15, 2023, took to an Instagram live video and Twitter to express himself and declare his support for Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu's second-term aspiration.
Taking to Twitter the artist wrote, "For me, Sanwo Olu again ni o,” while on his Instagram video he said, “I’m not (for the) All Progressives Congress, I’m not (for the) Peoples Democratic Party, I’m not (for the) Labour Party…but where Lagos is going right now, we don’t need to start testing at all.
"I think Sanwo-Olu is the right person for the job. This is not a paid promo or nothing. He has achieved a lot, he also has experience."
Naira Marley now joins other celebrities such as Mercy Johnson who have shown their support for the incumbent governor and APC flagbearer.
