Following ongoing investigations and various controversies surrounding the death of Mohbad, the music channel has placed a “Not to Be Broadcast” (NTTB) ban on all the songs under the record Label.

This was made known by a staff member of the music channel and popular TV host, Ehizojie Okoeguale, aka DadaBoy Ehiz who wrote on X “MTVbase dropped everything Marlian. Kudos to dem.”

The British channel now joins a list of broadcasting channels that have placed an NTTB tag on the Marlians record. Top Nigerian radio stations such as Splash FM have also banned the Marlian records.

As it stands, a Police investigation is ongoing on as the body of the late artist has been exhumed as we await autopsy reports.
