NIGERIA Movie "EYIMOFE" meaning 'This is my desire' took the Africa entertainment industry by storm when it was released in 2020.
The movie went ahead to win big at the Africa Movie Academy Award last night as it was nominated in seven categories.
The Movie won the awards for Best First Feature Film by a Director, Best Director (Chuko & Ayie Esiri), NFVCB for best Nigeria film, Award for achievement in sound and achievement in editing.
Eyimofe was the 2nd highest award winning movie of the night with Somalia's "The Gravedigger's Wife" taking the first position, winning six awards out of nine nominations.
Also, Nollywood movie, Citation and Ayinla also went home with an award of its own.
