VETERAN comedian, Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome, popularly known as Alibaba has made it known that skit maker, Mark Angel takes home $300,000 every month.
The renowned comedian made it known in the latest episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast as he advised people to stop looking down on comedy professions, noting the amount Mark Angel makes.
He said, “Some people still don’t believe Mark Angel is one of the richest comedians. Until somebody then hears how much YouTube, Facebook pay him every month. You hear someone is making up to $300,000 a month. And you are like, ‘Is it not that guy that wears big shorts and acts crazy?”
Alibaba also said that many don't believe Mark Angel is wealthy because he is a comedian but if he was a politician or oil merchant, people would have believed he is wealthy.
Mark Angel is best known for the Mark Angel Comedy series of shorts on YouTube. The YouTube channel was the first African comedy channel to reach one million subscribers.
