Man arrested for pirating “Jagun Jagun” movie

The news of his arrest was made known by Nollywood actor, Femi Adebayo, who produced the movie by sharing the picture of the man on his official Twitter and Instagram pages.

A yet-to-be-named man has been arrested for pirating the highly-rated Nollywood movie, Jagun Jagun, which was released on August 10, 2023, on the popular streaming platform, Netflix.

The news of his arrest was made known by Nollywood actor, Femi Adebayo, who produced the movie by sharing the picture of the man on his official Twitter and Instagram pages.

He wrote: “URGENT: Anti-Piracy Warning. Piracy is a criminal act that threatens the very essence of our creative industry. Persons have already begun pirating this labour of love.

“Some have been apprehended like in the photo, and we are relentlessly pursuing others and bringing them to book.

“Our search includes persons downloading the movie from unauthorised sites, including telegram groups.”

Note that piracy is the illegal copying and selling of movies and music and is a punishable offence by law.
