LIONSGATE, the film producer of The Hunger Games, said Rambo and John Wick, among others, are set to start the shooting of popular blockbuster movie John Wick Chapters 4 and 5, back to back next year.
The movie is based on the life of a retired hitman forced to return back. The last chapter released was Chapter 3 Parabellum, which was released on May 17 in the USA and May 22, 2019, in Nigeria. The budget of the movie is reported to be $75million.
It grossed $326 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing film of the franchise in just 10 days. The movie also won numerous awards such as People Choice Award, Saturn Awards e.t.c.
Lionsgate has confirmed that Chapter 4 will be released in 2022 while Chapter 5 will be released in 2023. The cast is yet to be confirmed but Keanu Reeves is returning for sure.
