AWARD-WINNING Nollywood actor, Kalu Ikeagwu, has taken his estranged wife, Ijeoma Eze, to court for abandoning their matrimonial home and fleeing with his children.
The actor who got married in 2016 to Ijeoma and welcomed their first child in 2019 narrated to the court how his wife left him a mail that she has returned back to her father's house in Enugu.
"I got back home from a trip on Aug. 4, 2021, to find out that my wife had left our matrimonial home with the children to an undisclosed location," he told the court.
"I tried to contact her when I got to the house and found it empty. I sent her an email on that same day and she replied that she had gone to her father’s house in Enugu."
Kalu also added that his wife had accused him of attempting to sleep with his child and also, she failed to acknowledge the money he sent to her while also noting that he didn't send his wife and kids out of the house.
The judge adjourned the case until June 23 for a continuation of the hearing.
