FUJI artiste, K1 De Ultimate has responded to news that he failed to refund money after not showing up for an event he was paid for.
Popular blogger, Gistlover had alleged the singer breached the contract with a client and he failed to refund the money.
The Fuji artiste in a lengthy post on his Instagram page wrote:
"Very recently, issues about my band going to perform in America erupted some negativity which was communicated to me by concern friends who come across a post where my name was been dragged into dealings with many sub show promoters in America.
"Firstly, I will like to state here that, I owe my fan's across the globe a high level of respect, hence the need for my explanation recently.
"That my band trip to the United States has NOT been canceled.
"All that is necessary to make the trip a success was put in place. Work permit, flight arrangements, and other necessary things, except the RIGHT OF VISA approval for those members of the band who need to obtain that before we proceed.
"Surely, I am not in control of approving that Visa but the American embassy here in Nigeria.
"I can understand agitation from many fans and music lovers across, but patience is required to get all this bottleneck sorted out with regards to the applicable laws that permit entertainers coming to America."
K1 also added that he would not involve non-concerned persons or groups in his issues, but directly deal with respected individuals and organisations involved in business with him.
The musician went further to condemn trolls and bloggers who use social media to distract people, and also put out false or misleading stories. He reiterated that there has been no form of hanky-panky played by him and his team and that there is a need to respect fans and put out explanations like one.
In his words; "A nice word speaks volume of your intentions rather than being bossy to the instruments that form your rise up to stardom. Let us refrain from the use of insulting words in the name of aggression.
"We have an integrity to protect, hence we will not defraud our fans and friends all over the globe. Agents of the 3rd hand parading themselves on social media should stop making issues out of nothing. You can't change what God Almighty has already ordained.

K1 De Ultimate is a popular Nigerian Fuji musician also known as King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal.
