NIGERIA own Grammy Award winning act, Burna Boy, will be performing at the Billboard Music Award for the very first time.
The Billboard Awards are honours given out annually by Billboard and unlike most award events, the BMAs finalists are based on album and digital songs sales, streaming, radio airplay, touring, and social engagement instead of votes.
These measurements are tracked year-round by Billboard and its data partners, including MRC Data and Next Big Sound.
Burna Boy will be performing live at the ceremony alongside awards Megan Thee Stallion, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Latto.
Also performing is Puerto Rican singer, Alejandro, who is a finalist in four categories this year, including top Latin artist.
The 2022 Billboard Music Awards will air Sunday, May 15, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT live on NBC.
