Burna Boy, Fela Kuti, Sunny Ade make Rolling Stone's all-time album list

The three artists are the only Nigerian artists to be in a new list of the 500 greatest albums of all time released by American Music media publication, Rolling Stone.

NIGERIA highly recognised artists such as Burna Boy, Fela Kuti, and Sunny Ade have had their albums named in Rolling Stone's top 500 albums of all time.

The three artists are the only Nigerian artists to be in a new list of the 500 greatest albums of all time released by American Music media publication, Rolling Stone.

2019 Burna Boy's  Grammy-nominated album 'Twice As Tall,’ which contained 15 tracks was placed at number 330 and described as a project that showcased his compelling versatility through his exploration of Afro-fusion.

The late Fela Kuti, who is regarded as the creator of Afrobeat, has his successful 1975 album 'Expensive Shit' placed at NO. 402. 'Water No Get Enemy' is one of the smashing hits of the album.

Veteran Juju music artist, King Sunny Ade is the third Nigerian on the list with his 2003 album 'The Best of the Classic Years' ranked at NO. 465. The album is a  playlist that features the best of his songs released in the 1960s to the 1970s.
