MULTI-TALENTED Nigeria rapper, Emeka Akumefule, aka Blaqbonez has explained why he decided to stop viewing people's Instagram and Snapchat stories.
Instagram and Snapchat are among the most popular social media platforms that allow users to share stories either in video or pictures form on their profiles, mostly about their life and daily activities.
Blaqbonez appears not to be a fan of it, as he revealed that he quit checking people's stories on Instagram and Snapchat four years ago, noting that watching people's stories made him feel tensioned by others.
He wrote:l “4 years ago, I stopped watching people’s IG & Snapchat stories because it always made me feel less of myself. People always seemed to have this perfect life, I told myself I won’t let them tension me. I still don’t watch people’s stories. #AskBlaqbonez
The artist, who in 2019 was as profiled by The New York Times as one of the new guards of Nigerian music, released his latest album "Young preacher" this year and has received positive reviews.
