JUST after he was announced as the most streamed Nigerian artist, Asake has again been announced as the most-played artist on Nigerian radio stations.
This is coming from a recently published end-of-the-year chart by TurnTable Charts, which noted that Asake gained a stunning 8.4 billion impressions to top the list.
The Grammy-nominated YBNL star hit song “Lonely at the Top” was not only the most streamed song of 2023 but also had the third-highest impressions on the radio stations.
Taking the second spot is another Grammy-nominated artist, Ayra Starr, with 8.1 billion impressions, as her hit singles 'Rush' and 'Sability' contributed to the impression.
The top 10 most-played artists on Nigerian radio stations in 2023 include Asake - 8.4 billion, Ayra Starr - 8.1 billion, and Davido - 7.5 billion.
Others are Rema - 7.4b, BNXN - 6.4B, Tiwa Savage - 5.8b, Young Jonn - 5.7b, Burna Boy - 5.6b, Kizz Daniel - 5.5b, and Omah Lay - 5.3b.
