THE last has not been heard concerning the criticism surrounding the sex scene between Kunle Remi (Saro) and Bimbo Ademoye, (Arolake) depicted in Kunle Afolayan's Blockbuster movie, Anikulapo.
Anikulapo tells the story of Saro, a man seeking for greener pastures, but unfolding events and his affair with the king's wife, he encounters his untimely death with Akala, a mystical bird believed to give and take life.
In one of the love scenes, the king’s wife – played by Bimbo Ademoye – took off her clothes before having sex with Saro – played by Kunle Remi.
The romantic scene showed the Queen’s breasts and Saro's butts. However, a crew member has come out to say that the scene did not really portray the breast of Bimbo Ademoye.

Following widespread criticism over this display, Kunle Remi on Monday, October 3, 2022, took to his Instagram live to fault his critics.
He said, “A lot of people say the nude scene was not necessary, but I’m gonna say this; as an engineer, I can’t tell you how to engineer, as an accountant I can’t tell you how to do your accounting. As a chef, I cant teach you how to cook so as an actor you can’t tell me how far or what I should do in my job.
“That scene for us symbolised the moment when we were so vulnerable. Anyways Nigerians are hypocrites. But that was the most vulnerable moment for these characters and that was the first time they genuinely made love”..
