IN response to the infrastructural demands of the residents of Santos Layout, Akowonjo, the Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Adewale Sulaimon has commenced the rehabilitation of the Santos Layout major road in Akowonjo.
Information made available for publication by the SA Media to the Chairman, Comrade Babatunde Opeyemi Yusuf stated that engineers and workers began reconstruction works on the road on Monday, October 31, 2022.
The project is expected to take a few months to complete and water-resistant materials will be used for the construction to enhance the durability of the road.
Meanwhile, residents of the area are advised to use other routes during the course of the project.
