IN his bid to support the people-oriented goals of the Executive Chairman, Alimosho Local Government, Hon Jelili Sulaimon, the councillor representing ward A at the Alimosho Local Government legislative arm, Hon Omobolaji Yusuf, has collaborated with the SOB Foundation to put smiles on the faces of Alimosho widows.
SOB Foundation is a philanthropic organisation of young people within and outside Nigeria with the mission to create relief and so put a smile on people's faces by helping to alleviate their sufferings.
The recent kind gesture by SOB Foundation and Yusuf is however said to focus on taking care of widows in the community and it's the first of its kind.
Benficiaries
The programme which was held at DCM Hotel, Akowonjo, was well attended by a number of widows across Alimosho.
The CEO/Founder of SOB Foundation, Mr Sam Oluwakayode Badmus said "Today's program started like a play and today it's a reality. I learnt the act of giving from my parents who can give everything they own without looking back".
He consequently appreciated everyone in attendance and promised that this is just the beginning of good things to come.
In his contribution, Hon Omobolaji Yusuf appreciated SOB Foundation for the solid collaboration. He stated that though helping the widows has been a part of his usual activities, but this particular one is much larger than he ever thought.
The beneficiaries were full of appreciation and prayers for the councillor and SOB Foundation.
