IN a concerted effort to give Alimosho children the best education, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, the Executive Chairman of the Alimosho Local Government Area, has presented marker boards and packs of markers to all the Primary Schools in Alimosho.
The distribution took place at the Local Government Secretariat, Akowonjo, on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, in the presence of the traditional rulers and other stakeholders in the LGA.
Speaking at the event, the Council Boss told the Primary school pupils to be dedicated to their studies as the Government will do its part to make life easy for them during learning. He added that the marker boards will henceforth, be used in all the classes for the purpose of teaching to support those provided by the State Government.
To demonstrate the use of the board, the Council Chairman taught the pupils just like it is done in the classroom. 
Appreciating the Council Chairman, the Education Secretary in the Alimosho Local Education Board, Mrs Airat Alamu, said the notable efforts of the Chairman to the development of education in Alimosho are visible.
She added that the Akowonjo Primary School fence, which was affected by road construction, has also been reconstructed to ensure the safety of all pupils.
