Egbeda was declared a rape-free zone recently, during a rally against domestic violence in Alimosho Local Government.
The Wife of the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-olu, Wife of the Deputy Governor, Mrs Hamzat and the wife of the Alimosho Local Government chairman, Hajia Kabirat Sulaimon declared this during the rally.
Hajia Sulaimon said: "It is time to put a stop to domestic violence, say no to child abuse, rape and all sorts of domestic violence."
