THE Executive Chairman of the Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, visited the sites of some ongoing and completed projects in the local government to ascertain that what is being constructed is what was intended.

In the company of the Vice-Chairman, Hon. Akinpelu Johnson, the Secretary to the Local Government, the Supervisory Councillors, and other Special Advisers and Assistants, he toured all the projects, beginning with the already completed construction of Azeez Ayorinde Street, where a few corrections were made and a date scheduled for the commissioning.

Other project sites visited include the already constructed Odebunmi Street at Miccom, where an end of the already constructed road requires an adjustment and the ongoing construction of drainage close to the almost-delivered Olorungbebe Health Centre.

During the visit, he sought the opinions and observations of the residents about the projects and called their attention to the need for collaboration with the government.

Speaking at the drainage control site close to Olorungbebe Health Centre, the council Boss stated that some of the challenges being faced today are a consequence of yesterday's actions, adding that actions like dumping of waste in water-ways and non-maintenance of drainage channels will lead to erosion and flooding as being experienced in the area.

He, therefore, called on all the residents of Alimosho to try to dump their wastes appropriately to prevent the destruction of properties.
