THE Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon has urged all Muslims in Alimosho and beyond to pray for the country and her President, President Bola Tinubu, so that the Nation can be at peace.
In a Ramadan message made available for publication, the council Boss said it's a great opportunity to get this far in Ramadan, adding that before and within these last 10 days of the fasting period, so many things have happened.
"While some couldn't live to witness the start of the month, some others who witnessed the beginning are no longer alive to get to this count. Some died just after day 1, while some others died at day 9.
"Seeing this message means you are alive and still counting and may God grant you the opportunity to count to the end," he stated.
He added that the Month of Ramadan is a great month of easy reward for all good actions and a month of acceptance of prayers.
He consequently encouraged all Muslims to utilise the month to pray for Nigeria and her President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as he makes efforts to put Nigeria on the right track. He, as well, prayed that Allah restrains all agents of political and societal disruption for the good of the Nation.
