JELILI Sulaimon, the Chairman of Alimosho Local Government Area has sought co-operation from the Alimosho community while his administration focuses on the delivery of its promises.

The Council boss made his humble request in an official statement made through the digital media and passed to alimoshotoday.com by the Council's Chief Press Secretary.

He wrote: "A thick forest got its name from its features. No matter how large a land is, if it isn't made of trees and weeds, it can't be termed a forest. The peak of pomposity is the feeling that you can do it alone. How exactly is that even possible?

"The government is made up of a group of people. An individual cannot be termed a government if it isn't a given name. Therefore, the need for us to come together cannot be bargained; it is a necessity and in fact, a compulsion.

"As a result, as we move into this new administration, seeking your cooperation is not out of place. In fact, getting your nod is in the first place the reason why we could get here. While we are trying to make things happen, only your cooperation can make it a success.

"We are here because you are there".
