THE Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, has rolled out a plan for the distribution of palliatives to the residents of the council to cushion the effects of fuel subsidy removal.
Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that the plan was rolled out in a meeting of all stakeholders, which took place on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the local government Secretariat.
The plan will accommodate all categories of people including but not limited, to youth, Community Development Committees (CDCs), Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), League of Imams, People Living with Disabilities (PLWDs), and APC party stakeholders, among others.
Information also affirms that the palliative, which would contain mainly food items like rice, beans, garri, and so on, will occur from today, Thursday, August 17, 2023, in the Alimosho Local Government Area.
According to the plan, the palliative distribution, which is not a one-time activity, will be distributed in batches to the stakeholders. As a result, those who did not get this month will be considered in the following months.
