THE Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Jelili Adewale Sulaimon was presented with an Award of Excellence at the 2022 Professional Day organised, over the weekend, by the Alimosho Professional Group at the Cedar Point Event Centre, Iyana-Ipaja, Lagos.
Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that the program, which is an annual convergence of Professionals in the Alimosho Local Government Area, is aimed at bringing members of the group together to discuss the means of progressing in their profession while in service and after.
During the event, themed ‘Passport to Success’, Dr Bamiro of the Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM) discussed the topic ‘Midlife Syndrome’ while Mr Wasiu Balogun, the CEO of Polysmart Packaging Limited, enlightened the attendees on the topic ‘Towards a Blissful Retirement’.
While speaking, Mr Wasiu affirmed that Alimosho is the largest local government in terms of consumption of bottled Water in West Africa and that is why the second distribution centre of his company, Polysmart Packaging Limited, was located in the local government.
Hon. Jelili, on his part, was honoured with the presentation of an Award of Excellence to the CEO of Polysmart Packaging Limited, Mr Wasiu Balogun, after which he was also presented with an Award of Excellence for his outstanding leadership and his contributions to the progress of the local government.
The Council Boss was accompanied by his wife, Hajia Kabirat Sulaimon and the Supervisory Councillor for Health, Hon. AbdurRasheed Abolade.
